Sonnet II

Sonnet II

he is nothing but a lewd mountebank
who steals money from his poor aged wife
to fill your pockets, and am i too frank?
do you want to continue such a life?
if so, you should no longer come to me,
when your brain needs to be filled with poetry
and math, for it's not what i wish to see,
and i want to put away the history!
don't tell me that you love me even more,
while you work on his limbs and on my mind,
who said that i need half of you to score,
as there are many women i can find?
pity yourself, stop singing the same song
for heaven's sake, you can tell right from wrong.
